War Witness (2024): provides an in-depth look at the work of journalists in war-torn areas of Ukraine, and how they convey the intense and often heart-wrenching stories from the front lines.
The Hunger of War: Afghanistan's Aftermath (2023)
Lima, a mother in Kabul, struggles with poverty and once had to sell her three-year-old son, Safir, to survive. The family burns plastic for heat and can scarcely afford one meal a day. Now, Lima considers another heartbreaking decision: selling one of her daughters to feed the rest of her family.

She faces isolation and desperation, as foreign aid has decreased significantly after the Taliban regained power. The economic crisis has impacted many Afghan lives, with some selling property and even organs, while early marriage for daughters has become more common due to financial hardship.
Journalism At War (2021): shows us how journalists work to capture the stories we read in newspapers and watch on the news, providing us with a glimpse into the human fates they encounter. We witness dramatic depictions of battles between Kurdish-led coalition forces and the last fanatical IS soldiers who refuse to accept that the fight is lost, and heart-wrenching scenes from bombed-out cities and refugee camps where children live in dire conditions. Additionally, we meet several Scandinavian men and women who traveled to Syria to join the IS caliphate, and who now attempt to explain and justify their choices.
